Krabloonik - For a true back woods feel and the best wild game in Colorado retreat to the village's rustic cabin diner, whose name in Eskimo means “big eyebrows”. It's so-called after the first lead dog employed by its owner whose passion, second to superb food, is dogsled racing. In fact, the restaurant is home to 250 of his sled dogs.
For American and Caribbean specialties try The Wildcat Café, also ranked one of the best restaurants in Snowmass.
The Mountain Dragon, also rated among the top 10 dining hot spots, offers award-winning oriental cuisine.
Does your family crave a night out at a pizzeria? Try the Sage Bistro.
Got a hankering for lobster? Forget the other restaurants in Aspen/Snowmass. Try Butch's Lobster Bar. While many of Colorado's Snowmass/Aspen hotels contain in-house eateries this is the only restaurant and bar within a condominium complex – the Timberline Lodge.
